In a forgotten town known as the "old capital of Tokyo", strange and mysterious crimes are progressively occuring. There's a rumor about a white-faced ghost living within an old mansion in the woods, some students decide to investigate. Meanwhile, two city detectives decide to track down a mysterious informant who has been helping them solve some difficult, supernatural cases via phone tips and this leads them to the mansion. At the end, they meet the mysterious young Mayuki and his house staff.  Hyuga Mayuki is a young detective who holds a special insight power that allows him to uncover the real truth behind these occurances.
